We are pleased to share the joyful news that J&M Catering is taking over Silverspoon. This will give Silverspoon the necessary space to continue its activities and develop under J&M Catering’s wings. Both Silverspoon and J&M Catering will retain their own brand names and in the future will offer their services in accordance with their own prized concepts.
The takeover won’t change much if anything to the DNA of both enterprises. We will continue to operate as separate, individual brands within the sector. From now on, they will exchange logistics and production insights. Silverspoon has been located on the premises of J&M Catering on the Boomsesteenweg in Schelle since April. We will ensure that the execution of the entire culinary experience and the decorative touches are 100% made-to-measure; always customised for the client and with the distinctive characteristics of both houses.
J&M Catering and Silverspoon will be working side by side this summer at big events such as the European Championship Hockey in August and Knokke Hippique in July. J&M Catering also has various festivals on its summer programme. J&M will be present at Tomorrowland, Jazz Gent, Lekker Klassiek and Paradise City.
J&M Catering will be starting a new chapter this autumn. After a radical, several-year renovation, the historic Handelsbeurs (Bourse) in Antwerp has been restored to its previous grandeur and is ready to host several events. J&M Catering will be the exclusive caterer and will run its own restaurant in the old Schippersbeurs (Shipping Exchange), next to the brand-new Autograph Hotel owned by the Marriott Group and the large, 270-car Q-Park car park. So if you want to create a breath-taking experience in a unique, historic setting, you know where to plan the next event for your customers.
